Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 07/08 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/08, 07:15 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/08, 07:00 UTC and that during the 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue ~7% of customers experienced data access in the Azure Portal and in the App Analytics Portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
  • Incident Timeline: 15 minutes - 07/08, 07:00 UTC through 07/08, 07:15 UTC

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
