We have confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 05/30, 22:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 05/30, 12:00 UTC and that during the 10 hours 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue Azure USA Gov Cloud customers who uses Log Analytics would have experienced issues in accessing data and running alert rules for Log Analytics data.

Root cause has been isolated to issues with one of the dependent platform which was impacting Log Analytics API service. Once the dependent platform issue is resolved Log Analytics API service is started working as expected. All Azure USA Gov Cloud customers who uses Log Analytics would have experienced issues in accessing data and running alert rules for Log Analytics data and we estimate 2 hours before the issue is fully recovered.

We continue to investigate issues within Log Analytics. Root cause is not fully understood at this time. All customers who dependent on Azure Soverign Cloud for accessing data would be experiencing an issues with data access and running alert rules for Log Analytics data. Initial findings indicate that the problem began at 05/30 12:00 PM UTC. We currently have no estimate for resolution.
