Save the date for #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet for inclusive classrooms and accessibility on 15th May
The world around us isn’t built for just one person. Whether it’s represented by the concrete ramp added to a curb outside, or by the subtitles on our screens, we acknowledge the experience of others when we reshape our everyday environment to make it more inclusive. Our next #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet will consider that accessibility in the digital world and how modern tools can help classrooms adapt to every student from the start (and without having to pour concrete). Featuring our UK Dyslexia & SEND Consultant to Microsoft Arran Smith and MIEExpert James Donaldson, it certainly is a hot topic discussion not to be missed.
Check out the blog here for full details.
Free online events on reimagining accessibility and creating more inclusive classrooms this May
With May 17th marking the seventh Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), we all have an opportunity to raise awareness around accessibility in the digital world. We’re teaming up with the State of Washington’s Special Education Technology Center to help you inspire confidence in your students and develop content with inclusivity in mind. In a series of short and free webinars this May, we’re asking our expert hosts to highlight the benefits of Microsoft Learning Tools, Office 365 and Windows 10 assistive technologies in crafting inclusive, engaging content for your class.
