Hey, world! My name is Rob Paveza, and I'm a Senior Software Engineer on the Microsoft Edge DevTools team - what we informally call ourselves the F12 team. I'm a "boomerang" employee - I spent some time outside of Microsoft in 2016 and have returned, pretty much just down the hall from where I used to be. I previously spent time as a developer working on Cordova, the cross-platform application framework; and both a developer and program manager on Chakra, the JavaScript engine within Internet Explorer and Edge.
It's been awhile since I've blogged on my personal site, and the truth is, I've missed it. What I want to cover in here is some of our internals, historical information, and I'll also be working with our PM team to bring some upcoming information. But the goal isn't to just be a mouthpiece, it's more of an analysis of what we do, how, and why.
