Today's MIEE Spotlight is shining brightly on Gordon Wardlaw, Chemistry Teacher from Grangemouth High School in Scotland. Gordon loves being involved in wider school life and is dubbed as 'Mr ICT'!
Gordon is a teacher who is willing to take risks and try new things in the classroom, evaluating and improving them to ensure they effectively enhance teaching and learning. He uses Office 365 tools across his lessons and school life through Scotland's online portal GLOW. He has utilised OneNote Class Notebook to host course content for his students and to enable them to collaborate anytime, anywhere. Using his own OneNote he is able to track student progress and assessment easily and quickly, ready for evaluation at any time.
As well as this, Gordon has used Yammer effectively to allow his pupils to take responsibility for their own learning and collaborate and communicate together online.
