The box plugs right into the data centre network and supports standard protocol like SMB and CIFS. Data on the box itself is secured with with a 256 bit AWS encryption
Signing up for the preview
You can sign up for the preview via the Azure Portal http://aka.ms/azuredatabox and UK data centres are available, simply select the data which is being moved, the country where this located the target data centre the type of services and time frames for when the data move is required.
