With the new term getting into full swing, there are plenty of resources and updates to help you get the most out of any new and existing technology in the classroom as the year continues!
In case you missed it, the Back To School Live event hosted by Microsoft product experts and MIE Experts included an interactive set of online workshops, TweetMeets and tips to help you get the most out of OneNote Class Notebook with Microsoft Teams, Minecraft: Education Edition, Windows 10 S and Intune for Education.
All of the live sessions were recorded and are available on-demand through the Microsoft Educator Community. Below is the video stream, but be sure to head over to the MEC to find additional resources, guides, and to earn points towards a range of badges!
We've also recently announced a number of updates to Learning Tools and Immersive Reader, which are available for OneNote, Word and Outlook. Educators have been seeing great outcomes in using Microsoft Learning Tools for their students over the past year. Spurred by their great feedback, our team wants to empower even more students around the world with inclusive and accessible technology, and so we're excited to announce new capabilities in Office 365 for Education.
Mike Tholfsen, Principal Product Manager for Microsoft Education goes into deeper detail on all the updates and improvements in this post on the Microsoft Education Blog.
Lastly we're pleased to share news from last week's IFA event in Berlin, where Terry Myerson (EVP Windows and Devices) shed more light on some of the new Accessibility and Security features coming to Windows 10 in the Fall Creators Update. To learn more about these features, as well as everything else coming on October 17th, check out the full post on the Windows Blog.
Of course, every classroom is different, and every set of learners will have their own requirements. To help educators and students get the most out of technology there are many different courses on the Microsoft Educator Community covering a range of different devices, tools, initiatives and pedagogical approaches.
